Jonathan Herring and Kristyn Robinson are the Male and Female AON Triathlon Champions following Bermuda Triathlon Association action at Clearwater.
Herring came out of the water first in a time of 10:19, he then had the second fastest Bike Course time of 32:24, Herring then held off all challengers when he covered the Run Course with the second fastest time of 19:27. Herring clocked an overall time of 1:03:08, Neil De Ste Croix finished second clocking a time of 1:05:35 and Kent Richardson finished third in a time of 1:07:31.
Robinson, was the fourth finisher overall, she was ninth out of the water clocking 12:25, she then had the 4th fastest Bike Course time of 33:32, she then clocked the fifth fastest Run Course time of 21:00 to clock an overall time of 1:08:13. Laura Norman was the second Female finisher, clocking a time of 1:18:01 finishing 22nd overall and Emma O’Connell rounded out the top three Female finishers clocking 1:18:36 finishing 27th overall.
Dennis Joell won the Try-A-Tri Event clocking a time of 22:47, Caroline Layzell was the Female finisher clocking 23:49, she crossed the line second, the third finisher was the second Female finisher Corinne Peach who clocked 23:56.
The team of Graham Smith, Dominique Mayho and Tucker Murphy ran away with the Open Team Event clocking 1:01:02, Gabriella Arnold, Greg Hopkins and Karen Smith finished second with a time of 1:09:04, while Roger Todd, Mtume Hart and Omari Hart finished third clocking 1:10:36.
