The first game of the day saw the Phillies defeat the previously undefeated Giants by a score of 10-7. The Phillies were led by Finlay Turnball at the plate and with tricky game ending catch. Owen Neal and Billy Montgomery combined for 4 strong innings from the mound. Giants led by Narsje Brockington at the plate and the mound.
The Marlins defeated the Tigers 14-1. The Marlins were led by Stephen Paynter and Colin McCue who keyed an outstanding job pitching.
