The Bermuda National Rugby team was putting the final touches on their preparation for their upcoming international test against the Cayman Rugby National team.
The Test is scheduled to be played at the National Sports Center on Saturday, May 19th. The match not only forms part of the 2012 Caribbean Championships but also doubles as part of the 2015 Rugby World Cup qualifying process.
As expected, there are not too many changes to the Cayman Islands team following their win over Mexico but some fine tuning has occurred that they feel is required for this particular game.
The Caymans arrived on the island and foresee the battle up front being a torrid one, as Bermuda are traditionally very strong in the forwards, and have opted for a 5/2 split on their bench to help counter this.
As has been the case with each game in this campaign, some tough selection decisions had to be made by the Cayman Island, and some people have unfortunately missed out, but the benefit of having a larger training squad is certainly felt by everyone involved.
