The Bermuda Snooker Association will be hosting an International Snooker League Tournament at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel. The event is sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Tourism along with others.
This tournament actually originated between Bermuda (“Old Colony Club”) and New York Athletic Club some 40 plus years ago. It has grown over the years to include teams from all over the world and is played at different venues on a rotation basis. I believe it was last played in Bermuda maybe 5 or 6 years ago. Ten - 3 men teams have entered this year.
The tournament will start approximately 8a.m. on Saturday, May 12th and run through till about 7p.m. each day in the Princess Victoria and Princess Katherine rooms at the Princess. The Semi-Finals and Finals will be played on Saturday, May 19th throughout the day.
