In Commercial League Softball action at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond saw another big night of runs in a double-header. A total of 66 runs was scored on the night.
Tuff Dogs defeated the Rosa Banditos 22 – 7, Ryan Outerbridge went 4-of-5 from the Plate for the Tuff Dogs, with 1HR and 5RBI’s, while Rebecca Schoeler went 1-of-3 from the Plate for the Rosa Banditos, with 1 Double and 2RBI’s.
In the nightcap the Panthers edged You Know Dat 19 – 18. McLaren Lowe went 2-of-3 from the Plate for the Panthers, with 2HR’s and 6RBI’s, while Steven Simons went 3-of-4 from the Plate for You Know Dat, with 2 Doubles, 1HR and 8RBI’s.
