In Commercial League Softball action at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond saw one of the biggest nights of runs in a double header for a very long time, a total of 95 runs were scored on the night in a double-header.
In the opener Pest Control defeated the Tuff Dogs 28 – 20. Alex Styche went 5 for 5 from the plate, with 1 Double, 1 Home Run and 6RBI’s for Pest Control, while Mark Bohrer went 2 for 5 with 1 Home Run and 5RBI’s for the Tuff Dogs.
In the nightcap the Panthers defeated Outback 32 – 15, Mike Sardine went 5 for 5 from the plate, with 2 Home Runs and 8RBI’s for the Panthers, while Kirk Duerden went 3 for 4, with 3 Doubles and 3RBI’s for the Outback.
