Timmy Sousa walked away with the Miller Handicap Snooker Challenge Tournament at the Warwick Workman’s Club.
Jose Berrios took the early lead in his Semi-Final match against Sousa. Sousa came back to claim the next two games to move on to the Finals.
Maurice Hawkins defeated Steven Bremar by winning 2 games in the second Semi-Final match.
In the Finals Hawkins and Sousa battle it out with a race to three games. Sousa would come out strong taking the first two games. Hawkins fought back to claim the next two games. Sousa was the eventual winner claiming the fifth and final game to win 3 games to 2.
The next Miller Tournament will be the Champions of Champions to be held at Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, on Saturday, March 24th starting at 1 p.m.
The four finalists are Steven Bremar, Tony Dawson, Peter Bromby and Timmy Sousa.
