The Commercial League Softball Season kicked off at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond at Bernard Park with a double-header.
In the opening match the Tuff Dogs defeated The Outback 23 – 8, Justin Barritt went 4-for-5 at the plate, with 3HR’s and 7RBI’s for the Tuff Dogs, while Darren Green went 3-for-4 at the plate, with 1HR and 2RBI’s for The Outback.
Know Dat defeated Rosa’s Banditos 12 – 9. Matthew Hayward went 2-for-4 at the plate, with 1HR and 3RBI’s for Know Dat, while Tory Richard 2-for-4 from the plate, with 2HR and 3RBI’s.
