Round two of the Bermuda Snooker Association’s Island Construction Knock Out saw Quarter-Finals played.
Watford Sports Club One secured their spot in the Semi-Finals by defeating Sandy’s Boat Club One 3 - 1. Maurice Hawkins put Watford Sports Club One on the board by winning his game against Martin Siese 53-38. Watford Sports Club One’s Tony DeSilva defeated Stuart Matthews 59 – 27. Peter Bromby then gave Sandy’s Boat Club One some hope by defeating Steven Bremar 76-33. Fourth game saw Watford Sports Club One’s Zane DeSilva defeat “Bo” Bromby 51-18.
Warwick Workman’s Club Two defeated Sandy’s Boat Club Two 3 – 1. Andre Burgess defeated Duncan 61 – 15 to put Warwick Workman’s Club Two in front. Richard Beale evened things up by defeating Reuben Burchall 44 – 22. Timmy Sousa put Warwick Workman’s Club Two ahead again by defeating Aaron Carvello 69 – 38 and the final game saw Wally Tucker defeat Chris Bromby 51 – 16.
Spanish Point Boat Club Two defeated Royal Artillery Association Two 3 – 1. Spanish Point Boat Club Two took the lead when Stewart Greenslade defeated John Gibbons 78 – 17. Andy Peniston put Royal Artillery Association Two on the board by defeating Chris Dakin 74 – 22 and Ed Gumbs & Denis Coyle won their games by default.
Warwick Workman’s Club One defeated Queen’s Club Two 3 – 1. Leon Smith dusted off his cue to win his games against Greg Swinbourne 61 – 29 and give Warwick Workman’s Club One the lead. Gary Bascombe kept the winning streak going by defeating John Burns 66 – 31. Rick Dorush put Queen’s Club Two on board by defeating Courtland Furbert and James Talbot defeated Jimmy McGill 62 – 29 for Warwick Workman’s Club One to win.
