Kiera Aitken took part in the Catalan Circuit of Trophies Swimming Grand Prix Barcelona Provincial Council Championships.
Aitken finished 7th in the Women’s 100m Backstroke Preliminaries when she clocked a time of 1:06.10 to advance to the Finals. In the finals Aitken recorded a time of 1:06.23 to finish the event 7th overall.
Aitken next competed in the Women’s 50m Backstroke, where she came within .07 of a second from breaking her Bermuda Record. In the Preliminaries, Aitken finished with the 5th fastest time of 30.77, she then advanced to the Semi-Finals where she lowered her time to finish 3rd clocking 30.77. in the Final Aitken was clocked at 30.14 to finish third overall.
Aitken finished 13th overall in the Women’s 50m Freestyle when she recorded a time of 28.01, she then finished 6th in the Women’s 100m Freestyle clocking 59.44.
Aitken was then part of the C.N. BARCELONA ABS A C.N.B team that finished the Women’s 4x200 Freestyle Relay against 28 teams, Aitken swam the third leg as the team recorded a time of 8:49.42.
