Team Tuned Motorcycle Racing's Youth Development Program has completed its fifth consecutive season in Bermuda's Local Motorcycle Racing Championship organized by the Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club.
Team Tuned Motorcycle Racing Manager Cyril Whitter III said, “The dedication shown by both the program's participants and its sponsors has enabled the team to achieve a further 2 National Championship titles, 45 race victories and a total 65 podium finishes in 2011. We would like to congratulate our youth athletes for their achievements in 2011.”
For the Season Team Tuned Riders Bruce Degrilla Jr. won the 2011 BMRC GP125 National Champion, Kewuan Gilbert won the 2011 BMRC Formula National Champion and Shae Darrell finished in third place in the 2011 BMRC GP80.
“Inclusive of the 2011 results the program has now achieved 7 National Championships, 152 race victories with a total of 286 podium finishes since it was established in 2007,” concluded Whitter.
