A wild YAO Senior League game from the outset saw the Orioles defeat the A’s 17 - 9. The scoring started right away in the 1st inning, as the A's jumped out to an early lead scoring 2 runs in the 1st off of Orioles starter Conor Lohan. The Orioles came right back in the home half of the 1st scoring 6 of their own.
The A's starter, Rayshon Diggs, had a rough go of it, and was chased from the game after two-thirds of an inning. His counter part, Lohan however, seemed to turn it up a notch shutting down the A's in the 2nd with a 1-2-3 inning.
After a quick rain delay in the 3rd, the A's where quickly cooled off and the Orioles rally continued putting them ahead at this point 16-4.
The A's bats did come back alive again in the 4th and 5th but they feel short against the Orioles with the final score 17-9.
