A's Earn a Thrilling win
A’s 7 Oriles 6
Both teams struck early with both scoring 1 run in the first, then both starting pitchers, Evan Hughes of the A's and Bruce Sandham of the Orioles, settled in and recorded 16 strike-outs between them up until the 5th inning.
In the 5th, the hitters took over, by the end of the 5th the score was 4 - 4. The Orioles scored 2 more in the top half of the 6th with the A's scoring just 1 in the bottom half to make the score 6-5.
With the bottom of the 7th looming and the home team A's trailing by 1, they knew they needed to get it together and quick. With 3 singles and the bases loaded it was all up to the Orioles fielders and the A's Kayla Ming who had struck out in two previous at bats. Ming was swinging off the first pitch off Orioles pitcher Brandon Ray and found the hole on the left side of the infield between short and third for a 2-run RBI single to win the game for the A's
Marlins win in blowout

The Royal’s day started out tough with an 11 run first inning for the Marlins. It didn't get any better after a 10 run second inning either. Things did settle a bit for the Jays as the Marlins only recorded 6 runs for the remainder of the game.
The Marlins starting pitcher, K.J. Moreno, looked sharp in the 4 innings of work where he faced 15 batters, striking out 11 and only walked 4. David Jones had a good day at the plate with a 3-run homerun and 5 RBI’s on the day. Jaylen Martin looked sharp also when he was on the hill, with only 3 earned runs tallied against him and 3 strikeouts thought 3 innings.
