Action in the Bermuda Volleyball Association’s Bermuda Open continued, with the Men moving up to the Warwick Academy Gymnasium, while the Women played their matches inside the MSA Gymnasium.
In Women’s action Bermuda Women’s National Team won their first game of the evening in straight sets, but they went down in their second game in a three set thriller.
The Bermuda Women’s National Team defeated Lobster Pot 25 – 10, 25 – 17. They then won the went down in the first set to TKO Toronto 25 – 18, however Bermuda bounced back to win the second set 25 – 14. TKO then won the third set 15 – 12 to win the game 2 – 1.
In other Women’s action Got Game out of New York went down in straight sets 25 – 12, 25 – 12 to Downstate New York, Got Game from New York defeated Lobster Pot 25 – 23, 26 – 24, they then went down to TKO Toronto in straight sets 25 – 13, 25 – 17.
Lobster Pot defeated Downstate New York in three sets, Lobster Pot won the first set 25 – 19, but Downstate won the second set 25 – 17, in the final set Lobster Pot walked away with a 16 – 14 win.
In the Men’s Division the Toronto Extreme defeated the Bermuda Boys 25 – 20, 25 – 10, while Bermuda One defeated Bermuda Two 25 – 16, 23- 25, 15 – 8.
