Jamere Griffin, a former native of Bermuda, who has resided in Gulfport, Mississippi for the past seven years played for the D’Iberville High School Varsity Baseball team that went down 4 – 3 to St. Martin.
St. Martin went ahead 1 – 0 in the top of the Second Innings after both teams went scoreless in the first innings, they scored another run in the top of the 4th inning to take a 2 – 0 lead, but Griffin’s D’Iberville fought back to level the game at 2 – 2 in the bottom half of the inning.
St. Martin, scored two more runs in the top of the 5th, to take a 4 – 2 lead, while D’Iberville could only score one run in the bottom of the 7th to go down by one. Griffin went 0 for 1 in his only at bat.
