Keith Smith defeated Rick Dorush 44 – 22 and 57 – 49 to get Warwick Workmen’s Club One started. Jimmy McGill picked up the lone point for Queen’s Club when he defeated Courtland Furbert 43 – 23. Gary Bascome downed Greg Swinbourne 55 – 41. Bascome & Furbert then defeated John Nicol & McGill 62 – 25.

Mike McGowan got RAA started with a 53 – 39 win over Aaron Bean. Andy Peniston then defeated Roger Henderson 70 – 43, but Henderson came right back in the second frame and took it 63 – 29. Timmy Simons then defeated Herbert Burrows 60 – 34. Simons & Bean teamed up to defeat McGowan & Burrows 72 – 45.

Tony Dawson defeated Chris Dakin 60 – 42 and 60 – 58 to give Spanish Point Boat Club Three the early lead. Stewart Greenslade put Spanish Point Boat Club One on the board with a 66 – 29 win over Jim Chartrand. Ed Gumbs followed up with a 60 – 21 win over Stuart Randall. Greenslade & Gumbs then defeated Chartrand & Randall 76 – 12 in the doubles.
