 Ann Symonds IslandStats.com Day Four of the GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship got underway in Myrtle Beach.
The tournament, which uses an intricate handicap formula to level the field, is open to all golfers – men, women, young and old – with a certified USGA handicap, some of the players taking part from Bermuda include Patricia Morgan, Ann Symonds, Kevon Trott, Gary Venning, Paula Smith, Allan Smith, Ann Mitchell and Frank Morgan.
Playing in the Women’s 49 & Under Division, Patricia Morgan shot a final round 83 to move up from T17th to 7th, while Symonds finished T10th after her final round of 89.
Frank Morgan played in the Senior Men 60 – 69 and after his final round 83 he moved up from T16th to T10 in the Division and with a final round 89 Trott playing in the Senior Men 50 – 59 Division ended the tournament in 22nd place.
Alan Smith is also playing in the Senior Men 50 – 59 along with Venning. Smith’s final round of 88 sees him finish 43rd, while Venning shot a final round 97 to finish T38th.
Both Paula Smith and Mitchell played in the Senior Women 50 & Above, Mitchell ended the final day T31st after shooting a final round 87, while Smith shot 90 and finished 35th.
