The Seniors Golf League was created at Ocean View earlier in the year with the objective of encouraging our senior members and their guests to get out and participate in monthly golf tournaments. The program has been an overwhelming success with close to 50 participants each month. The National Office of the Seniors and Physically Challenge have graciously supported our efforts for this program throughout the year.
Longo has agreed to come to Bermuda to share his knowledge with the members of the Bermuda Professional Golf Association. By doing so, BPGA Members will gain an insight on the techniques required to work with the challenges of those with disabilities, and bringing Golf to individuals who may never consider it possible to play the game. Peter will be the first to tell you how immensely gratifying and rewarding his work has been and is here to share this with the Bermuda PGA members.
Following the teaching seminar, Longo, along with BPGA Members will have the opportunity to share their new teaching techniques with the members of the seniors golf league and persons with disabilities.
