Day 2 - Handicap Championships
Day Two of the GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship got underway in Myrtle Beach.

The tournament, which uses an intricate handicap formula to level the field, is open to all golfers – men, women, young and old – with a certified USGA handicap, some of the players taking part from Bermuda include Patricia Morgan, Ann Symonds, Kevon Trott, Gary Venning, Paula Smith, Allan Smith, Ann Mitchell and Frank Morgan.

Playing in the Women’s 49 & Under Division, Symonds moved up from T20th to T11th after her second round 79, while Patricia Morgan climbed 10 places from T27th to T17th after her second round of 82.

Frank Morgan is playing in the Senior Men 60 – 69 and after his second round 82 he moved up from T17th to T8th in the Division and with a second round 80 Trott playing in the Senior Men 50 – 59 Division ended the day T3rd.

Alan Smith is also playing in the Senior Men 50 – 59 along with Venning. Smith’s second round of 97 sees him finish the day T44th, while Venning shot a second round 94 and is T32nd.

Paula Smith and Mitchell are playing in the Senior Women 50 & Above, Mitchell ended day two T32nd after shooting a second round 93, while Smith finished shooting 93 and is 35th.
