World Amateur Handicap Championship
The GOLF.com World Amateur Handicap Championship got underway in Myrtle Beach.

West Wins at Tuckers Point
Eric West dominated Tuckers Point and the rest of the field to win the Bermuda Professional Golf Tour’s Jack Daniels Series #5 tournament.
On a perfect day and a course in perfect condition, scoring was expected to be low, and West did just that.
After making a great saving par on the first hole the rest of the round was full of fairways and greens. West Birdied the 3rd and 7th holes to make the turn at 2-under Par and by then he had a one stroke lead over Scott Roy, who was 1-over Par, while Dwayne Pearman was Even after nine.
Unfortunately Roy couldn't keep pace and faltered shooting 5-over par on the back nine to finish tied for fifth, Pearman could only card an even par back nine to finish second on even par 70.
West's fine play continued with birdies on 11, 15, 17 and 18, his only mistakes came with a Bogey on 13 and an unfortunate Double Bogey on 16, to finish shooting 3-under Par 67 tying the low round of the year.
Brian Morris found some of his old form again to finish third with the always consistent Daniel Augustus the pair both finishing shooting 3-ver par 73’s.
