ISL Commissioner David Bascome would neither deny nor admit that he is seeking the Presidency of the Bermuda Football Association.
Rumors surfaced at the end of last week, so www.islandstats.com approached Bascome to clarify the situation.
Bascome who for the past four years has been actively seeking to give players and youngster “Hope for Life” would only say, “There are several things on the table, but at this time I am not ready to reveal anything yet.”
“As you know I would like to see several things happen in Football, something I am very passionate about, however at this time I will keep my cards close to my chest as to what I am planning to do next,” concluded Bascome.
Bascome did however reveal that he has signed a deal that will see Fox Sports International (Fox Soccer Channel) Televise the 2011 & 2012 ISL All-Star game in Bermuda & a weekly half-hour highlight shows.
Bascome said, “Fox Soccer Channel will air the All Star match, they will also air 6 thirty-minute highlight shows.”

The Bermuda Football Association needs new ideas, younger ideas, maybe having Bascome as the leader of the Bermuda Football Association, footballers will see the chance to get to the next level more of a reality.”
