www.islandstats.com can confirm that challengers Bailey's Bay Cricket Club will play in the Third and Final Round of the Eastern County Cup on Saturday August 28th at the Sea Breeze Oval against champions Cleveland County
Earlier in the day, Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club Secretary Kent Gibbons informed www.islandstats.com of the following:
“The Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club would like to dispel the rumors that there will not be a County Game on Saturday August 28th at the Sea Breeze Oval.
There has been nothing and I repeat nothing officially released by the club.
The Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club would like to advise the public that the team is scheduled to training at the club this evening followed by a meeting between the Management of the Club and the players, following this meeting we hope to jointly release a statement to the public regarding Bailey’s Bay’s Cricket Club attempts to Win the Eastern County Cup on Saturday.
No further comments on this situation will be made by the Club until after this evenings meeting take place."
