Skipper Ingham, Bermuda's Senior Karate Master and founder of the island's original dojo, placed eighth of ten competitors in black belt 50 and over traditional forms at the 19th Twin Towers Classic International Martial Championships at the Sheraton New York Hotel in New York City.
Ingham's next international event will be the World Karate Organization Memorial to Richard Kim, scheduled for October 15 to 17 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. Karate competitors interested in entering this event can contact the Bermuda Karate Organization at 292-2157.
