Michael Sims opened the Price Cutter Charity Championship being played at the Highland Springs Country Club, in Springfield, MO shooting a 2-under par 70.

Sims ended the day T70th seven strokes behind Brandt Jobe and Kyle Thompson.
Sims started out on the front nine shooting a Birdie on the Par 4 second hole to go -1, but after four straight Pars, Sims shot Bogey’s on the Par 4 seventh and ninth holes to make the turn +1.
On the back nine Sims found his form, shooting three Birdies and 6 Pars to end the day strong.
