Ryan Roberts sits in second place with a 4 over 75 one shot better than Ryan Benevides who posted a remarkable 76 which included a 10 on hole #2. Bill Carlson from North Dakota is at 7 over 78 and looking to make a move in tomorrow’s round at Tucker’s Point.
16-18 Division - Net
Although you can only win either the gross or net Palanyandi leads the net division with a 7 under 64. Roberts is the closest contender after posting a 3 over 74 net.
13-15 Division – Gross
Anrdrea De Bono from Basiglio, Italy leads this division after day one with a respectable 5 over 76. Bermuda is hot on his heels however, as Dwayne Pearman Jr and Mitchell Campbell both recorded 8 over 79’s to keep in contention.
13-15 Division – Net
Matthew Smith, leads the net division by a slim one shot lead after recording a 7 under 64 net. Arriek Douglas is one back on 6 under par 65.
Boys 12 & Under
Justin Stagg from White Plains, NY posted an 8 over 79 to take a 4 shot lead going into tomorrow’s second round over Walker Campbell, who posted a 12 over 83. Bermuda Junior 12 & Under Match Play Champion, Thomas Allkins sits in 3rd place after posting a 17 over 86.
Girls Open Division
Zayla Smith leads by four shots with a 32 over 103 over Elizabeth Parsons who came in with a 107. Lydia Barit is in third place.
Novice 9 Hole Division
Jonathan Diforio from White Plains, NY takes an 8 shot lead after round one with a 7 over par for 9 holes. In second place is Jai-Onni Outerbridge with a 51 and Zion Dowling in third with a 52 after 9 holes. Callaway Scoring format is used to determine the net in this division.
