The PHC Foundation held their Awards Ceremony at the XL House handing out a total of $36,800.00. With Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, JP, MP, Premier of Bermuda in attendance Neil Clemens the Foundation President welcomed everyone, before introducing the Guest Speaker Patrick Tannock.
Tannock said to the Awardees, “Don’t think because you get your education that everything is done, you have to master your trade in ordere to make sure that you achieve all your goals.”
“Tannock challenged the Awardees to plot their own course saying, “Make the best for yourself in life and these opportunities afforded you by your parents, coaches and others, you now have to understand that life is full of challenges and it is totally up to you to make the most out of it.”
Shaquille Codrington
Codrington received $1,800.00, he will attend the Bermuda College – studying Physio Therapy
Lamar Richardson
Richardson will use his $5,000.00 at Temple University where he is studying Actuarial Science
Shakhai & Shaquille Trott
Both Trott’s received $5,000.00 to attend South Kent Prep School
Shakeem Albouy
Albouy who will be attending the Darlington Prep School received $5,000.00
Na’eem Griffith
Griffith received $5,000.00 he too will be attending the Darlington Prep School
Khiari Lespere
Lespere received $5,000.00 to attend St. Andrew’s Prep School
