Day One of the 2010 Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational Hosted by Durham StridersTrack Club at the Duke University in Durham, NC saw the Bermuda Pacers Track Club member capture 4 Medals.
Justin Donawa won the Gold Medal in the Triple Jump Measure 32' Youth Boys event with a leap of 12.78m, while Juma Mouchette won the Gold Medal in the 3000 Meter Run Intermediate Boys event with a time of 9:46.19, Zakiyyah Showers won the Silver Medal in the Girls 11-12 3000m race with a time of 12:19.19, while Julia Hawley finished with the Bronze Medal clocking 12:42.26.
Running in the 200 Meter Dash Bantam Boys Preliminaries, Sajan Harvey finished 10th in a time of 30.50, while in the Midget Girls Preliminaries, Precious Evans-Hayward finished 22nd overall with a time of 29.00, while Jaymie Darrell finished 34th with a time of 30.68. Jarrett Simmons finished 7th in the 200 Meter Dash Youth Boys Preliminaries with a time of 24.45, while Jah-Nhai Perinchief finished 28th in 28.55.
Running in the 200 Meter Dash Intermediate Boys Daniel Emery finished 16th with a time of 23.83, while Allison Outerbridge finished 5th in the Triple Jump Measure 33' Young Women with a leap of 11.07m.
