Wollmann's Shine in Virginia

The 2010 USODA Layline Fleet Nationals opened with 261 competitors sailing on the championship course at Fishing Bay Yacht Club, Virginia. The sailors were separated into 4 Divisions of a little over 60 competitors each competing in the “Qualifying Round”. Based on their positions in the “Qualifying Round”, the sailors have been put into 4 Divisions with the best 67 sailors in Gold, then Silver, then Bronze then Pearle. Bermuda’s 3 sailors Ceci, Ellie and Mickey Wollmann had have all qualified for the Gold Division.

On Day One, Ceci Wollmann is currently in 6th place with 49 points, Ceci finished 4th in the first race and then finished 40th in the second race, but she bounced back and finished 5th in the third race.

Ellie Wollmann had finishes of 46th, 46th and 15th to finish 34th with 107 points, while Mickey Wollmann has 108 points and is in 35th, this after finishes of 50th, 51st and 38th.
