Lauderdale Yacht Club #4 are the 2010 USODA Team Race National Champions. Going into the final race of the day LISOT Blue and Lauderdale YC were separated by 3 points with 6 points up for grab in the final race of the day. The Lauderdale Yacht Club 4 team of Wade Waddell, Liza Toppa, Alie Toppa, Christopher Williford and Duncan Williford beat out the LISOT Blue team of Alexandra DelBello, Reiner Eenkema van Dijk, Drew Gallagher, Ty Ingram and Harry Koeppel. Both teams had very close racing all the way around the course and battled it all the way to the end. At the finish it was Lauderdale YC 4 winning with a 2-3-4-5 combination.
Ellie Wollmann from Bermuda was on Team LOOT Gold (Peter Ehvert, Andrew Hodgson, Federico Jover, Meredith Megarry and Wollmann). For the final day they were in the top group of 4. In their first race the narrowly lost to Lisot Blue. Their second race was against eventual National Champions LYC #4 were they went down by the score of 19-17. In their final match they defeated ISV. LOOT Gold ended 6th overall out of 24 teams.
In the Silver fleet sister Ceci Wollmann sailing on Gnarly Red came in 3rd place with her brother Mikey Wollmann sailing on Gnarly Blue in 5th place.
