More Medals For Pacers

Jordan Bascome won a Gold Medal

The Bermuda Pacers Track Club continued to compete at the United Age Group Coaches Association's Track Meet at Widener University, Philadelphia. Pacer members on Day 2 have won a Gold Medal and Two Silver Medals.

Jordan Bascome won a Gold Medal in the Girls Youth High Jump, Bascome shared the podium with Brittney Herrick who also leaped 1.45m, while Juma Mouchette collected a Silver Medal in the Boys 3000 Meter Run Intermediate race when he was clocked in at 9:39.07. Deesa Booth won the Silver Medal in the Intermediate Girls Discus Throw 1.0gr when she had a throw of 24.49m.

Juma Mouchette finished 4th in the Boy’s 1500 Meter Run Intermediate race in a time of 4:28.49, running in the Girls 3000 Meter Run Midget race Zakiyyah Showers finished 4th with a time of 11:45.00, Jah-Nhai Perinchief and Jahmari Sutton both leaped 1.55m during the Boy’s Youth High Jump to finish T4th.

Tycee Martin finished Heat 3 in fourth place during the Girls Midget 100 Meter Dash Preliminaries. Martin’s time of 14.38 saw her finish 13th overall. In the Boy’s Midget 100 Meter Dash Haile Eve finished 12th overall with a time of 13.95, while Kevonte Jennings-Lathan finished 13th with a time of 13.98.

Justin Donawa has qualified for the Boy’s Youth 100 Meter Dash Final after clocking a time of 12.45 during Heat 4. Winning Heat 4 during the Girls Bantam 400 Meter Dash, saw Syriah Lottimore finish with the fastest qualifying time, while Mikaela Outerbridge recorded the 11th fastest time of 1:15.16.

Azaire Smith and Quaashie Douglas finished 1 & 2 in Heat 3 of the Girls Midget 400 Meter Dash with times of 1:02.97 and 1:03.74 to advance to the Finals, while Jaymie Darrell finished 16th overall with a time of 1:06.11, Jahita Smith finished 22nd overall with a time of 1:07.01, Tasharah Richardson finished 35th with a time of 1:18.87 and Demiqua Daniels finished 37th clocking 1:19.83.

Kyrah Scraders advanced to the Girls Youth 400 Meter Dash Finals finishing with the 6th fastest qualifying time of 1:00.51, while Aaliyah Nolan finished 9th overall clocking 1:02.57. Bascome finished 13th overall with a time of 1:04.20, while Perinchief finished 21st in the Boy’s Youth 400 Meter Dash with a time of 1:07.77. Karim Creary advanced to the 400 Meter Dash Intermediate Boys Final when he finished 5th overall with a time of 52.75. While in the 400 Meter Dash Young Men race, Dmitri Williams
