Nisbett Wins 1.40m Class in Germany

IslandStats.com
Patrick Nisbett continues his preparation for the World Equestrian Games with another win in a major competition this weekend.

Riding Quick Caporal Z Nisbett finished ahead of 31 other competitors in the Silver Tour at 1m40 at the GERA CSI event being held in Germany over a three week period, with a clear round and in the fastest time. Nisbett has now accumulated an impressive record of finishing in the top ten no less than 23 times in 2010 and has completed close to 100 competitions so far this year.

He has yet to decide which of his mounts that he will be taking to Kentucky in September and this may well be a difficult decision. There is still an opportunity for members and friends to support Nisbett’s campaign and those who wish to assist with the cost of shipping his horse from Germany to the USA can do so by making a donation to the BEF account.

Nisbett and Antille 8 finished 38th in the Table A 1.35m Class. Nisbett and Antille 8 completed the course in a time of 78.39 with 10 faults.

In the Two-phase Jumping 1.35m Class Nisbett and Antille 8 finished 11th, with a time of 49.54 and 0 faults.

There will also be a fund raising fun Golf Tournament on Saturday 21st August 2010 and the deadline for entering that is Monday 16th August. Details can be obtained from Jean Wolosiuk at email wolosiuk@logic.bm or Eardley Jones at 535-0606. This event will be held at Belmont Hills Golf Course. On Line Banking should be identified as Golf.
