In the first Eastern Counties Cricket Association Twenty20 match at the Sea Breeze Oval, saw Cleveland County win by 8 wickets, Flatts Victoria batted first and scored 90 all out. Regino Smith scored 17 runs, while Reginald Baker and Chris Dailey both added 12. Suraj Metha had bowling figures of 4-0-16-3 for Cleveland County, while Makai Young bowled 3-0-15-2. In return Dion Stovall scored 74 not out off 27 balls to lead Cleveland to victory. Stovall’s knock saw him hit fives sixes and eight fours. Ronald Gibbons had figures of 2-0-15-1 for Flatts Victoria.

Phillip Burgess scored 35 runs for Flatts who were bowled all out for 99, Logan Phillips added 9 runs. Kyle Hodsoll had bowling figures of 4-0-18-4 for Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club, while Calvin Dill bowled 2.2-0-11-2. In reply Dennico Hollis scored 25 as Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club eased to victory with eight overs to spare. Vernon Eve had figures of 4-0-18-2, while Nelson Bascome bowled 2-0-15-1.

Batting first in this match to decide the Eastern County Twenty20 Champions saw Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club score 166/7 in their allotted 20 overs, Wendell White was the top scorer with 70, while Terryn Fray chipped in with 31. Suraj Metha had bowling figures of 3-0-15-2 for Cleveland County, while Dennis Musson bowled 4-0-24-2.
In reply Damali Bell scored 52 but it was not enough as Cleveland County could only make 147/8 in their allotted 50 overs. Gordon Wilkin chipped in with 24. David Trott had bowling figures of 4-0-25-2 to lead the Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club bowling attack.
