Both Osborne and Benevides missed the cut playing in the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego California.
Osborne shot a Third Round 6-over par 78. Osborne’s scorecard showed he shot 1 Birdie, 11 Pars, 5 Bogeys and 1 Double Bogey in his round, while Benevides shot his third consecutive Round of 9-over par 81, Benevides round included 2 Birdies, 6 Pars, 9 Bogey’s and 1 Double Bogey’s.

It seems only appropriate that the birdies are coming in bunches at the Chiquita Classic. Through two rounds of the inaugural event at TPC River's Bend, the field of 156 players has accumulated 1,448 birdies, which averages out to 9.28 per person. There have also been 47 eagles, which is more than the totals of 11 of the first 14 tournaments this year.
However not for Michael Sims, who withdrew during the second round due to an ankle injury. Sims in his First Round shot a 3-over par 75, started his Second Round with four consecutive Pars before a Double Bogey on the Par 3 fifth hole saw him move to 2-over par. Sims recorded two more Pars in his round before being forced to withdraw.
