Members of the Bermuda National Junior Squash Team continued to compete in the Caribbean Junior Squash Championships in Cayman Islands.
Noah Browne was crowned the Boys Under 17 Champion. This Final was a real nailbiter, with significant involvement from the referees. Brown had the height advantage, but struggled to make it tell against a resilient Jason Ray Khalil. The Guyanese led in every game, but couldn't close them out, letting slip an 8 - 3 lead in the second turned out to be crucial.
Micah Franklin went down to the number one seed Cameron Stafford in Boys Under 19 Final. Stafford was Cayman's last, and best, hope of a title, and he duly delivered with a solid performance over the talented and spirited Franklin. Franklin won the first and was on Stafford's tail for the next three games, but this win was written in the stars, and Stafford duly delivered.
D’Vario Thompson and Emma Keane finished in third place in the Boy’s and Girl’s under 15 Division.
