Aaron Evans and Tre Houston were all smiles when they arrived at the LF Wade International Airport.
Evans won Bermuda's first and only medal at the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Athletics championships in Miramar, Florida, while Houston placed 3rd in the 200m with a Personal Best time of 21.04 having 1 of the top 8 times in the Semi-Finals. Unfortunately they took the top 2 in each heat and the fastest looser with another athlete having a time of 21.03 denied Houston of the 8th spot.
Running in Finals of the Men’s 800 meters, Evans finished second to win the Silver Medal. A day after recording the fifth fastest qualifying time to reach the Final during day two of the NACAC Under 23 Championships, Evans covered the distance in a time of 1:47.79.
