In Bermuda Basketball Association Women’s League action at the Bermuda College saw Defending Champions St. George's Storm defeat the Somerset Flyers 33 – 15. Kamale Evans led St. George’s with 13 points, while both Liz Carpio and Elmeir Johnston scored 4 points for the Somerset Flyers, St. Georges are now 2-1 for the season.
In the evenings second game, the Warwick Suns held off a last minute run by the Hamilton Parish Chargers to win 24 – 19 to remain undefeated. Marissa Wainwright and Arkeita Fubler both had 9 points for the Warwick Suns, while both Teshay Gibbons and Nicole Crumpler had 5 each for Hamilton Parish.
