Hamilton Parish Compete in Cleveland

Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club Under 10 Youth Soccer Team are currently taking part in the 2010 AC Milan Continental Cup going on in Cleveland Ohio.

Entering its fifth year, the AC Milan Continental Cup is unique when compared to any other international youth soccer tournament. Participating athletes ages U9-U19 boys and girls will have the chance of a lifetime to play competitive soccer against some of the top teams from across the United States and around the world while experiencing a travel adventure and cultural exchange beyond compare. Add to that Olympic-style Opening Ceremonies, a Rock & Roll Dance Party, Feature Games and a multitude of city attractions and entertainment, and you have an amazing journey. The Continental Cup prides itself on being more than just a soccer tournament.

Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club are being coached by Phillip Burgess and Nigel Burgess.

Playing in Group C, Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club defeated Liberty FC 8 – 2, they then went down 3 – 1 to the International Under 10 Blue Team. In their Final Group C match Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club went down to Lasalle Stompers Boy’s 2000 7 – 5.

Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club finished third in the Group with three points, scoring 14 goals only giving up 12.

Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club have won their Play-Off Consolation match 1 – 0 against Etobicoke Youth Energy 2000 Green.
