Three members of the Bermuda CAC Junior Team have qualified for the 800m finals tomorrow. In the Boy’s Under 20 Division Shaquille Dill recorded the fastest qualifying time on his way to winning his heat in a time of 1:55.34, while Henry Stevens-Carty finished 2nd in his heat and 6th overall with a time of 1:55.91.
In the Girls Under 17 Division Shuntae Hendrickson recorded the 7th fastest time finishing 3rd in her Heat with a time of 2:26.70 with them all going to the finals which is tomorrow.
Meanwhile Tyra Stovell competed in the Under 17 Girls Long Jump finishing 8th with a leap of 4.87 and Blaine Simmons finished 7th in the Under 17 Boy’s Long Jump with a leap of 6.35m.
