Meanwhile the BCB confirmed that Dr. David Scott, well known Sports Psychologist, is currently on island to work with the national programmes including the Girls Development Team, U13s, U15s, U19s and the senior men and women's teams.

Scott who met with the Under 19 National Team last night at the National Sports Center is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick and is a Sports Psychology for the Montreal Canadien NHL Hockey Team. He has worked as a Sports Psychologist for the West Indies Cricket Team, National Hockey League (ICE) and for numerous other sports teams.

David Moore, National Coach said, "The primary purpose of Dr. Scott's work with the Bermuda Cricket Team(s) will be to help the players enhance their performance by improving their mental skills. For any team to be successful we need players to be strong leaders, to be accountable, and to take responsibility for their own and their team's performance. When players are confident, mentally tough, believe in themselves, believe in a collective vision, and trust their teammates, they look for leadership opportunities, are accountable to themselves and their teammates, and take responsibility for outcomes."

Coach Moore continued, "On behalf of Board I would like to thank the Argo Foundation for supporting the BCB National Development Youth Programmes and providing opportunities for our young players to develop and improve their mental and physical health both on and off the field."
