Match Officials for UAE Tour

www.islandstats.com can confirm the names of the match official assignments for the UAE tour of Bermuda.

The appointment of all local umpires for this series is a testament to the quality of officiating Bermuda Cricket Umpires Association (BCUA) members have become know for and the confidence in the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) that local umpires can deliver when called on.

Roger Dill, Richard Austin, Lester Harnett, Kent Gibbons, Anthony Fubler, Randy Butler, Oscar Andrade, Hector Watson and Steven Douglas will all play a part.

Assignments for the UAE tour of Bermuda are:

I-Shield 5-8 July:

Dill & Austin - Fubler - 3rd.

50 Over 10 July:
Fubler & Harnett - Andrade - 3rd.

50 Over 11 July:
Dill & Gibbons - Watson - 3rd.

1st T20 12 July:
Dill & Douglas - Gibbons - 3rd.

2nd T20 12 July:
Douglas & Gibbons - Fubler - 3rd.

Harnett is Match Manager for the I-Shield game, with Randy Butler performing the Match Manager duties for the limited overs games and Adrian Griffith, from Barbados, will be the off-site Match Referee.

Meanwhile, www.islandstats.com can also confirm that Austin will officiate the ICC Americas Women’s World Cup Qualifiers series that will be held at Maple Leaf Cricket Club in King City, Ontario.

Canada will take on USA in a best of 3 series of 50 over matches against the USA. The winner of the series will move on to the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier tournament later in 2010.
