Patrick Nisbett’s drive to obtain sponsorship to support his efforts to compete at the World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Kentucky this September/October can only get better with his latest results.
Starting with Pforzheim, Germany CSI, Nisbett and Milton des Cresles finished 7th in the Middle Tour 1.40m on the first day of Competition.
Nisbett had one down with Cantaro the 2nd horse that he has qualified for WEG) in the 1.50m class saw them finish 30th out 53, which was a reflection of the quality of horse / rider combinations there.
The Second day Nisbett and Cantaro had a double clear in the 1.45m finishing 9th out of 60 riders. Nisbett decided not to ride in the Grand Prix but jumped the Middle Tour Final 1.50m finishing 7th out of 40 with a clear in first round and 4 faults in the jump off.
Nisbett then traveled to Maria Worth, Austria CSI. The first day Nisbett and Milton des Cresles finished 11th of 50 in the 1.40m jumping clear. Nisbett and Cantaro had an unfortunate 4 faults in the 1.50m.
The second day Nisbett and Cantaro had one down in the 1.50m but still finished 12th
