Keith Oliver, chairman of Cricket Scotland, has been nominated by the Associate and Affiliate Members of the ICC as one of their three representatives to sit on the ICC Executive Board.
Oliver, an Edinburgh lawyer, joins Singapore’s Imran Khwaja and Bermuda’s Neil Speight, who have both been re-elected, on the ICC Board following the Associate and Affiliate Members election at their meeting in Singapore. Speight succeeds Kenya’s Samir Inamdar as chairman of the Associate and Affiliate Members.
The ICC Board consists of the chairman or president from each of the 10 Full Members plus three Associate Member representatives. Also present at ICC Board meetings is the ICC President, who chairs proceedings, the ICC Chief Executive and the ICC Vice-President, as well as, by invitation of the President, the ICC Principal Advisor.

A training course for new umpires will be held this week at the following venues and times:
6:00 pm, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at PTB Headquarters, Palmetto Road, Devonshire 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Western Star Sports Club, St. Johns Road, Pembroke
The session on Thursday evening will be a practical session on the cricket field, so persons attending should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes.
