Byte Class of Bermuda Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Selection Trials
Kalin Hillier is now the leader in the Byte Class of Bermuda Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Selection Trials by tie break, half way through the 16 race series.
Race Day 2 of the trials was sailed in the Great Sound in beautiful conditions with 10 - 12 knot winds from the South West.
Both Hillier and Owen Siese are level on 16 points after 8 races with Dimitri Stevens closely in third with 22 points. The final two days of the trials will be sailed July 3rd and 4th.
The eventual winner will earn the single Bermuda YOG sailing berth for the inaugural event taking place in Singapore this August.
During the 4 races in the Great Sound, both Hillier and Seise won two races each, while finishing the other two races in second place. Previous leader Stevens had three 3rd place finishes and a fourth.

2010 Laser North American Championships
Bermuda’s Cameron Pimentel has finished 3rd in the 2010 Laser North American Championships.
The International Laser Class Association - North America and the Texas Corinthian Yacht Club are being held on Galveston Bay, Texas.
Pimental recorded a total of 40 points to finish in third place, while Jason Saints finished 18th with 124 points.
Ryan Saraiva finished 21st with 129 points, while Bermuda’s other competitor Campbell Duffy finished 36th with finish 186 points..
