ISL Semi-Finals Round Up

Kings 2 Arsenal 9

Chris Anderson
scored the only goal of the first quarter to give the Kings a 1 - 0 lead. Cecoy Robinson equalized for Arsenal with 13:46 remaining in the second period. Robinson scored the go ahead goal for Arsenal with 24 seconds remaining on the clock. Ralph Bean Jr. made it 3 - 1 to Arsenal with 11 minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Fabien Frankson made it 4 - 1 to Arsenal when his right footed drive flew pass Troy Hall in the Kings goal. Cornell Castle Jr. made it 5 - 1 to Arsenal. With 14 minutes remaining in the final quarter Lamaul Crofton pulled a goal back for the Kings. Daz Simons scored with 8 minutes to go restoring Arsenal’s four goal lead.

Castle curled a right footed shot pass Hall making the score 7 - 2. Two minutes later Simons scored his second and less than 30 seconds later Robinson completed his hat-trick with a right footed rocket to make it 9 - 2. Arsenal have advanced to the 2010 ISL Final.

Knights 5 Storm 7

The Knights got off to a good start when Keston Lewis scored with just two minutes gone off the clock. Vincent Minors Jr. doubled the Knights lead with a low shot that beat Jason Simons to his right. Kwame Steede pulled a goal back for the Storm with 1 minute on the clock in the first quarter.

Dimitri Butterfield equalized for the Storm when scored a right footed scorcher giving Robert Richardson in goal for the Knights no chance. Minors gave the Knights a 3 - 2 lead with a shootout goal with 3 minutes to go. Steede equalized for the Storm with 30 seconds remaining, but 20 seconds later Lozendro Symonds gave the Knights the lead.

Domico Coddington equalized for the Storm with one minute to go in the third quarter the only goal of the quarter leaving it all open for the final quarter for a spot in the Final. Coddington gave the Storm the lead for the first time in the game three minutes into the final quarter, but one minute later a Robert Richardson blast pulled the Knights level at 5 - 5.

With 2 minutes remaining Otis Minors gave the Storm the lead, a Coddington shot was blocked by the Knights goalkeeper and the rebound fell to Minors who scored from close range, and with 1:19 remaining Coddington scored from a shootout to give the Storm a 7 - 5 lead. The Storm advance to meet Arsenal in the championship match on Saturday night.
