The Bermuda Hogges went down in the 24th minute when Jose Angulo beat Freddy Hall with a header from a Nelson Becerra cross. The Hogges have been outshot in the first 8 – 4, Rakeem Deshields replaced Ernest Signor midway through the first half and with no further goals in the first half the Spartans take a 1 – 0 lead into the break.
The second half of play saw Hall very busy, making several saves up until the 90th minute, with the Hogges putting pressure on the Spartans a long ball forward in stoppage time saw Ryan Finley win the ball and score giving the Spartans a 2 – 0 win.
