IslandStats.com
The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) and Bermuda Hogges FC would like to take this opportunity to quash all rumors about Bermuda Hogges FC Head Coach Scott Morton’s departure from the team whilst in New Jersey.

We are pleased to inform you, due to work commitments Morton has left the team. We, the BFA and Paul Scope, co-owner of the Bermuda Hogges knew of this matter well in advance before the team departed the island Thursday, June 10th, for New Jersey. Head coach Morton was with the squad until Saturday afternoon when they won their first road game of the season, defeating New Jersey Rangers (2-nil). The following day, Coach Morton left the team and is now with his full time employment. He will rejoin the Hogges when they return home and prepare them for their home game against Ironbound Express of New Jersey, Friday, June 25th.

Meanwhile, the twenty (20) men squad will be under the direction of Assistant Coach Maurice Lowe, Technical Director, Derek Broadley and co-owner Paul Scope. The Hogges staff has been with team from the day they departed for the east coast. Hogges play their third and final game of a seven day road trip, Tuesday, June 15th, against Central New Jersey Spartans who are currently in fourth place in the standings, while the Hogges are in seventh place.

The Hogges return home Wednesday, June 16th, but will not play their next home game until nine days later, Friday, June 25th, against Ironbound Express.
