The Bermuda Hogges FC will get their first taste of overseas USL Program Development League (PDL) competition starting this week. They will get a real test when they play three different teams during a seven day span on the east coast of North America.
Wednesday, June 9th the Bermuda Hogges will depart for New Jersey and embark on a journey unlike no other. The first match will feature Ironbound Express of New Jersey, Thursday June 10th, followed by New Jersey Rangers, Saturday June 12th, and Central New Jersey Spartans, Tuesday June 15th. Clearly, this will be no easy task for the (20) men squad playing three games in six nights.
However, head coach Scott Morton believes his team will perform at a high level now that they've played four games already for the season. Coach Morton said, "We’ve learned so much about ourselves during the first four league games of the year. As long as we remain focused, committed and work as a unit, the results will show. This will be another test for our squad but the coaching staff, and I have all the faith and wisdom, this squad will deliver." The Bermuda Hogges return home Wednesday June 16th.
The (20) men squad is as follows:
Freddy Hall Tahj Bell Marquel Waldron Jaylon Bather George Dyer Jr. Ajani Gibbons-Richardson Seion Darrell Damon Ming Troy Tucker Tyrell Burgess Keishan Bean Jared Peniston Shayne Hollis Nahki Wells Quadir Maynard Reiko Trott Ernest Signor Rakeem Desheilds Roger Lee Logan Alexander
