The Bermuda Hogges started the game positively looking to pick up where they left off against Ocean City at the BAA Field, but after pinning the visitors in their half early in the match they found themselves down 1 – 0 in the 21st minute.
A defensive error allowed Ocean City’s Byron Carmichael to score pass an advancing Freddy Hall in goal for the Hogges. Ryan Richter doubled the lead eight minutes later scoring from just inside the box. Troy Tucker and Keishen Bean both had drives saved by the visiting keeper as the Bermuda Hogges went in search of that all important goal to get them back into the game.
Just when it looked as if the game would end 2 – 0 Richter scored his second goal of the game and his team’s third in the 90th minute as the visitors avenged their lost two days ago.
