Dickinson & Finnagan are Flag Pole to Flag Pole Champions
Stephen Dickinson and his crew James Finnagan continued their winning ways in the Comets when they won the Flag Pole to Flag Pole race in 6 hours and 30 minutes.
At the start of the race Rudy Bailey and his crew Antonio Bailey had a good start, with Dickinson and Finnagan in second.
When the two boats reached Spanish Point Dickinson caught a shift and blew pass Bailey and never looked back extending his lead in little to no wind.
Dickinson and Finnagan at one point spent one hour off Shelly Bay as the wind dropped out, however he lead was too big for anyone to catch up.
In the end Dickinson and Finnagan finished 12 minutes ahead of Bailey and 15 minutes in front of Gladwin Lambert and his crew Greg Proctor. Two boats dropped out of the race due to the lack of wind.
