Aaron Evans and Aranxta King have qualified for the NCAA finals following performances at the Regionals in Greensboro.
Evans, who set the Bermuda National and the University of Georgia school record with a time of 1:47.00 at the SEC set a new Record winning the 800 in Greensboro.
Battling against LSU's Richard Jones, who edged him for the conference crown, in the third heat, Evans finished this race in a time of 1:46.26 and won his event. His time is the fastest in the nation this year for a collegian.
King qualified for the finals finishing 8th with a leap of 20' 11" 3/4 (6.39m). The finals will be held June 9 - 12 in Eugene, Oregon.
Tristan Joynes finished 2nd in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.89 in the TSAA State Track Championships held in Murfresboro, Tennessee. Joynes school Christian Brothers took home the State Championship.
Joella Foster's 4 x 100m Relay team finished 2nd overall with a time of 45.19 to qualify for the Finals, while King's< 4 x 100m relay team has also qualified for the NCAA Nationals. They ran a 44.50 placing 5th.
